I'm losing interest in school. X(
Updates.
7:12 PM | Monday, September 24, 2007
I've been busy. A lot busy. School's been sooo stessful. One class activity after another. We just presented our production for the
God in Us singing contest and we won
2nd. Yey us. In two days, we formed interpretative dance steps that just won 2nd prize. lol. talk about imprumtu.
And now, we're double timing for our dance for
Dance Palabas for intrams. Really cool dance. :p Most steps were made by our batchmates. Some steps were even taken from
Rain's (Bi) MV of I'm Coming (Rain is falling down) lol, i know. But you guys should see it. The dance has a whole lot of variations. Modern to marching. :D The costume was designed by our batchmate too. She followed the costume of MCR in Black Parade but we had it short sleeved. Miss edited the color so instead of all black and silver, it's black-red-and silver. I sooo love our costume and I am sooo gonna show y'all if we'll have the costumes with us already. :p
I am officially an Ateneo Blue Eagles Fan! Enough said.
I'm back to my addiction to reading. :P Last week was
11 Minutes by Paulo Coelho. A book about the reality of s
ex. It's really an eye-opener. I usually recommend Paulo's books to everyone but this time, I'm recommending this book
only to those who are broad-minded. If the word sex digusts you even if you're just reading it here, then the book's not for you. I'm currently reading Five People You Meet in Heaven and I guess I'll be reviewing it here after I read it.
And things are going crazy. Chem's driving me crazy (Cations and Anions drives me suicidal. Hahaha). But Geom's driving me craziest. :P
And I seriously have to go. Reflection Paper. Urgh.
sick :(

The Epitaph
9:19 PM | Thursday, September 13, 2007
our english teacher made us make an
Epitaph this afternoon. yesterday it was an
Epigram and i ended up having
"Mi-Ann the Internet Explorer" LOLness, i know. anyway, so yea. we did make an epitaph. for you guys who don't know what an epitaph means,
its a short literary inscription on a tombstone in memory or in praise of the dead person. and i'm sharing my epitaph. hahaha.
you can choose to leave if you're too creeped out thinking of a living person trying to make and epitaph waaaay before her death (or, who knows? :p) so, here it goes *tun-dun*
In Living Memory of
BEVERLY ANNE FELICIO BALAGON
born: November 14, 1992
died: September 31, 2074
In this tomb lies
A girl who lived without disguise
A girl who accepted death wholeheartedly
Her last breath she took calmly
For she knows that on the other end,
A man's arms are widely spread
For at this moment,
She is reunited with the Man who gave her
the smile we will always remember.
----------------------
hahaha. yea. there. haha. Mdm. Gallur also asked us to
pick a date of our death. i wish that could happen in real life. haha. anyway, i chose
September 31, 2074 because of the song
"Wake Me Up When September Ends". i'm weird, i know. hahaha.
seriously speaking, this topic made me think about death.
my death. true enough, it's like this topic's been tabooed. people hate talking about death. but why? i mean. it's one constant thing here on earth. it's inevitable.
there's no way to escape death. anyway, waaay before, i'd like to believe that a
sudden death, as in an unexpected sudden (talk about redundancy. haha) death
would be better because as much as possible, i don't want to feel any pain. but i've later on realized (due to some stories from Mdm Gallur and a certain person named "Morrie", Tuesdays with Morrie guy) that its
pure selfishness. so, now, i'd like to know when i'd die. i don't care if i have to go through a lot of medications or whatever but i'd like to die in a
natural death. i want to grow old and when the time comes that i'll sense that sooner or later, i'm leaving,
at least i'd be able to bid everyone goodbye and say my last words. :) sighs.
"When you learn to die, you learn to live"
read and understand. :D

Hypocrisy
2:59 AM |
"Hypocrisy is the act of condemning or calling for the condemnation of another person when the critic is guilty of the act for which he demands that the accused be condemned."
i hate
hypocrites. seriously, i think they are the
BIGGEST LOSERS in this world. i know a lot of hypocrites and their hypocricy pisses me. they tell me what i shouldn't do when in fact, they themselves do things they tell me not to do. yea, right. at least, they should've examined themselves before they tell me what to do. and another thing that makes me burn in wrath is that when i try to tell them what i see of them, of how they do those things they've been telling me not to do, they
deny it. OMG. are you sure you know yourself? i hate it.
you don't have a right to tell me what i shouldn't do when you yourself couldn't follow your own word coz that's just plain bull.Labels: bull, wtf
HP and Friends - The Aftermath
4:37 AM | Sunday, September 02, 2007
hahaha. the title of the post makes me remember 'Barney and Friends'. whatev. well, anyway.. Harry Potter hang-over is still in me. it just won't sink in that Harry Potter series already came to an end. *sighs* here's something i found in Wikipedia. it's a short summary of JK's interviews about what happened to the crew after 19 years..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In an interview and online chat, Rowling gave additional information on the futures of the main characters that she chose not to include in the epilogue of the book. She stated that
Harry becomes an Auror at the Ministry of Magic, and is later appointed head of the department. He keeps Sirius's motorcycle, which Arthur Weasley repaired for him, but can no longer speak Parseltongue after the destruction of Voldemort's soul fragment inside him.
Ginny Weasley plays for the Holyhead Harpies Quidditch team for a time, then becomes the lead Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.Ron works for a time with George at his store, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and later joins Harry as an Auror. Hermione finds her parents in Australia and removes the memory modification charm she put on them. She initially works for the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, greatly improving life for house-elves and their ilk. She later moves to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and assists in eradicating oppressive, pro-pureblood laws.
Rowling also explained the fates of several secondary characters.
George Weasley runs his successful joke shop, initially helped by Ron. George names his first child Fred, after his late twin brother. (me-awwww :]) Luna Lovegood searches the world for odd and unique creatures. She eventually marries Rolf, a grandson of the famed naturalist, Newt Scamander. Her father's publication, The Quibbler, has returned to its usual condition of "advanced lunacy" and is appreciated for its unintentional humour. Firenze is welcomed back into his herd, who acknowledge that his pro-human leanings were not shameful, but honourable.
Dolores Umbridge is arrested, interrogated, and imprisoned for crimes against Muggle-borns. (me-good for her!)There has been a transformation in the wider wizarding world.
Kingsley Shacklebolt becomes the Minister for Magic, with Percy Weasley working under him as a high official. As one of the reforms introduced by Shacklebolt, Azkaban no longer uses Dementors. Consequently, the world is now a "much sunnier place". Harry, Ron and Hermione also help revamp the Ministry in their respective capacities. At Hogwarts,
Slytherin House has become more diluted and is no longer the pureblood bastion it once was. Nevertheless, its dark reputation lingers. Voldemort's jinx on the Defence Against the Dark Arts (DADA) position was broken with his death, and there is a permanent DADA teacher. A portrait of Snape, who briefly served as Hogwarts Headmaster following Dumbledore's death, does not appear in the headmaster's office as he abandoned his post. Harry intends to lobby for the addition of Snape's portrait, and reveals to all Snape's true allegiance.(me-Snape Snape Snape! We love you Snape :'])
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------*wink. :] i will miss reading the books. :]
Anyway
, its already September and school's back to normal again. :( last week was a really fun week at school. we were too busy preparing for the
Buwan ng Wika (which by the way, we already presented Biyahe Tayo-twice and thank God we didn't screw up :D) to have proper classes. The program was really fun.
Juan de la Cruz and
Wanted: Chaperon plays were really nice and funny as well as the other presentations.

Another thing, I am sooo into CSI: NY these days. I sooo love CSI. I really have a thing for detective works and whatnots. i wish i could be as brilliant as the Crime Scene Investigators. haha. and i wish people like them existed here in Philippines so crimes would easily be solved and justice would be given to the victs and innocent people charge with something they didn't do. tsk. CSI<3
