Insights on HP5

*read at your own risk. spoilers ahead.

OKEY. i've finally seen Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today. i find it okey but not impressive. amazing but still sucks. the book was way better. here are my observations of the movie:

>the first scene was really nice. because usually, the HP movies' first scenes usually are night times. its refreshing to see a new side of HP. the daylight it is.

>the Howler for Aunt Petunia was nowhere to be seen. i find that it was really essential to the plot making the people understand why Harry has to stay with the Dursley's.

>the Grimmauld's place to Department of Mistery scenes were too fastforward. well. okey.. those scenes were not really necessary. fine.

>Hermoine and Ron as PREFECTS. wth? it was not even shown in the movie.

>Kreacher. it would be better of Kreacher's self talks were more audible. i wanted Kreacher. haha. i love his.. idiocity. [is there such a word? :p]

>Sirius. honestly, the movie goers didn't feel the pain the readers felt when Sirius died. for them, it was like, 'ookey, he died. then?' but to us readers, it was like, 'whaaat? how could that bi*tch do that?' because the books showed us the bond they Harry and Sirius had, how important Sirius was to Harry, how he needed Sirius, how happy he is when he is with Sirius. nadah. i cried more when i was reading the book than when i saw Sirius getting sucked in that gray smoke or whatever it was.

>the Longbottoms. seriously, Neville has a role on HP5. i was disappointed when there were no St. Mungo's Hospital scenes but even more disappointed to the fact that the movie didn't point out the importance of Neville's character on the possibility that he would have been the Boy Who Lived and how the title could have been Neville Longbottom and the Order of the Phoenix. i wish they could've showed Neville's role to the deeper perspective.

>Room of Requirements. i was really excited to see how it looked like with all the information books on DADA, the spy gadgets it was supposed to have. i imagined it to be like the room of Moody in HP4, only larger but all that was there was a big space and a mirror posted with papers and pictures of the Order of the Phoenix members and Cedric Driggory. wth? but it was really funny watching Filtch waiting outside the ROR. haha.

>Trelawney and Firenze, okey, Trelawney was seen fired but where's Firenze?

>Umbridge's Observation Periods, way too fast.

>'Weasley is Our King.. he lets the Quaffle in..' i wanted to know the tune :(

>Fred and George! ooooh. the twins! i has tons of fun reading their antics on the book and the SWAMP from the book! i wanted to see that! c'mon.. what the heck was that? Fred and George on broomsticks and lighting fireworks. i expected more chaos than that!

>it was Marrieta who revealed the DA not Cho. but its okey. at least there's a better reason for Harry to hate Cho. :p and where are the DA coins? the one Hermoine made for them to let the members know the date and time of the next meetings? no sign of it.

>i liked the scene when DA members got punished and them ignoring Cho. lovvit.

>Occulumency and Snape. Occulumency-too fast. Snape-was not emphasized that Snape was on Dumbledore's side..

>GRAWP! OMG, i loved his scenes. haha. it was really funny seeing Grawp fancying Hermoine and how Ron gets jealous. haha.

>Luna Lovegood. At first i was 'OMG, she's too pretty to be Luna Lovegood' but she really portrayed the role well with the voice. haha.

>the Quibbler. would've been better if the interview with Rita Skeeter and banning the Quibbler was showed. it would emphasize Harry's struggles being named a liar.

>Department of Mysteries. no rotating room was seen. i want to see the rotating room. :p and didn't the book say the fountain statues moved?

>Dumbledore and Harry scenes at the near end. the one with Harry expressing his pain and anger on Sirius death? i really felt the strong emotion on that scene when i was reading the book but, again, no sign of it.

>"..but we have to admit, Dumbledore has style" :p the scene with Dumbledore escaping with Fawkes was superb!
-----------------

but objectively, the movie was amazing. i understand why certain scenes weren't showed.. if everything from the book was showed, it would take us a day or two to finish the movie. so, if you want to realy get amazed by the movie, watch the movie first before reading so you'll be amazed and be more amazed when you read the book. OK? :P

ps: these are all my opinion. if you have any violent reactions to it, then go ahead post it but keep in mind that Freedom of Speech exists. let's all respect everyone's opinion. :)
